This number rang me, 07364154124, and the voice sounded like a Pakistani or Indian bloke I got a scam call from a couple months back. I ended the call once he started talking about government help to clear debts. Total con artist, just hang up and block it!

We’re in the UK, not some place full of scams, yet the Government and the much hyped EU just ignore the problem - the crime, the stress it causes, and the real danger it poses on the road. Took a while to answer, sounded like an automated dialler. The guy had an Indian accent and said he was calling from some Government Approved Debt Write Off scheme that could cut 70-80% of unsecured debts. I told him that’s not a thing, and he wasn’t happy after that. He just hung up on me.

I have reported this to action fraud. These scammers are using fake phone numbers and claiming to be from the National Debt Service. They're trying to get your credit card info. Better steer clear!

Some guy calling himself Warren phoned asking to chat with me. I told him the person he asked for wasn't around and asked if I could pass on a message. He then said he loved me, which caught me off guard, so I asked why he was calling. He claimed he was my boyfriend. I told him I doubted that and ended the call. Blocked the number after that.

They said they were from National Debt Service but that’s a lie. Not from them at all. The people on the phone were really rude and pushy. They kept asking for my credit card info which felt dodgy. Got a call from this number and they already knew my first name. When I asked where they got my details from, the bloke asked if I had any mental health issues. I said yes, and then he told me I should go and shoot myself! Absolutely shocking. I kept my calm and kept asking why he was ringing me. He insisted he wasn’t being rude or offensive, which was ridiculous. I kept pointing out how awful it was that his reply to my health issues was that he’d pray to God for me! I kept him on the phone for about 20 minutes just to stop him from annoying anyone else!

Got a call from some debt people asking for someone I’d never heard of. Told them they must have the wrong number. Then they asked if I owed any unsecured debts, I said no, and they accused me of lying! They claimed to be a British firm but the guy sounded like he was from abroad. When I asked him what Scotland's capital was, he just ended the call!
