Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from EE. She said I could get a huge discount on my monthly bill since I'm a loyal customer or something. Then she started asking for my email to verify who I am. Yeah, that’s a no from me.

They rang me but didn't bother leaving a voicemail, so I'm guessing it's just some kind of scam. Honestly, if you're going to call someone and they don't pick up, it’s common courtesy to leave a message. Not doing so just makes it look like you've got something to hide.

I didn’t pick up on this one. Judging by what others have said, I’d say it’s probably one of those dodgy scam calls. My tip would be: if the number looks unfamiliar, just let it ring off. If it’s something urgent, they’ll probably leave a message or try back again. If you have no idea who they are or weren’t expecting a call from that person, just put the phone down straight away.

I picked up the phone and this lady started saying I could get a 40% cut off my bills. Honestly, I had no clue what she was on about and couldn’t make out which company she was with. I just ended the call straight away. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I picked up and it was a lady saying my SIM was about to get blocked in a day. Keep in mind, my SIM’s a contract one. She said she was calling from some company, but she kept quiet then suddenly got louder, saying I'd lose service in 24 hours. When I questioned her, she just cut me off. The caller was super pushy too. Honestly, best just to ignore and block the number straight away.
