I got a call from what seemed like an Asian call centre pretending to be from the DWP saying my NI number was hacked. Totally a scam trying to steal your bank info. Do not pick up, just block and report it to your local cops or Action Fraud. Also send a text with the number to 7226. Don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a fraud trying to rip off your bank details.

I got a call from what seemed like a dodgy call centre in Asia pretending to be the DWP, telling me my national insurance number was somehow stolen or leaked. They were clearly fishing for my bank details. Honestly, just don’t pick up or block them straight away. You should report it to the police’s fraud department or send a message to 7226. This is definitely a scam trying to get at your bank info.

I got a call from what sounded like some dodgy Asian call centre, claiming to be from the DWP. They said my national insurance number had been hacked or leaked or something. They're trying to get your bank info, so don't pick up or just block and report it to the police, or send a text to 7226. Definite bank fraud scam going on here. Be careful!

Watch out, these folks are from an unlicensed call centre somewhere in Asia. This time, they say they're assisting with your insulation claim but really just want your bank details. Do not pick up, just block them straight away. Also, make sure to report the scam to Action Fraud and send the number to 7226. It's a classic bank fraud trick, so be careful!

I got a call from some dodgy Asian call centre claiming they could help with my PPI claim. Turns out they were just after my bank info. Honestly, just hang up straight away and put them on block. Definitely not trustworthy!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, wouldn’t say his name or where exactly he was calling from. He was asking if anyone in my family served in the military and wanted to know if I could send money. Sounds like a complete rip-off to me. I didn’t give out a single detail, especially nothing personal or bank-related. You should definitely report things like this to Action Fraud and block the number straight away. That’s exactly what I did.

Got a voicemail from someone claiming to be with "HYT," talking about recovering money that’s supposedly owed to me. I looked them up online and couldn’t find any legit company by that name. Definitely feels like one of those dodgy bank scams trying to trick people. Avoid it, folks!

That number, 07538756456, belongs to someone called Simons Hughes on WhatsApp. He says he's a recruitment manager from FlexJobs and messages saying he's got good news for you, asking if you can spare a few minutes. Sounds dodgy to me, more like giving them time to fill in some application that’ll ask for your bank details and payment info for a job that doesn’t even exist. It’s a classic scam, they’re just after your cash. Definitely don’t click any links! I've blocked the number and reported it to Action Fraud. If you add him on WhatsApp, his name pops up as Simons Hughes too.

They said they were from Flexjob as recruitment managers but it’s all a con. There aren’t any jobs, it’s just a trick to get your bank info and clean you out. Don’t trust a word they say. Best to report it to Action Fraud and even text or call 7726 to let them know.

Got calls a few times from what seemed like a call centre in India or Pakistan, the number kept popping up as spam. A woman named Angelina was on the line, sounded like one of those Indian/Pakistani scammers. They rang again later on the same day, so I just blocked the number straight away. She claimed to be from some bank fraud department but it definitely wasn’t my bank. They asked me to report it to Action Fraud and send a text to 7726.

Got a call from 07366831929, apparently some Asian call centre, was curious so looked it up and saw it's been checked over 3,000 times on "who called me". The person on the phone claimed to be from this fake company called [help the internet]. Of course, it’s not real. They said they could cut my broadband bill by £300, but then asked for my bank info. As soon as they did, I just hung up and blocked the number straight away. Dodged a bullet there!

I got calls a few times from a number that seemed to be coming from either India or Pakistan. The number was marked as spam anyway. Someone called, said their name was Emma, sounded like they were from one of those solar panel businesses but couldn’t actually give me the company name. They rang again later the same day, so I just blocked the number. I’ve reported it to Action Fraud too. If you get texts like that, you can report them by texting to 7726.

I just found out that crown glazing, also known as crown telemarketing, has changed their name to ECO SAVE GL/ASS LTD and are now operating out of preston. They’re doing the same dodgy stuff again. From what i hear, they still haven’t paid their employees who were supposed to get their wages weeks back, and i bet anyone who put down a deposit ain’t seeing a penny of it. The whole thing seems like a mess of unpaid staff, lost deposits and bills left hanging.

I've discovered that Crown Glazing has changed their name to ECO SAVE GLASS LTD and they're located in Preston. They're pulling the same dodgy moves as before, and I'm pretty certain no one's gonna see their deposits again, especially since they still haven't paid staff wages that were due ages ago. The real con here is all about the deposits, unpaid wages, and outstanding costs.

So it turns out Crown Glazing have changed their name to ECO SAVE GLASS LTD and are operating out of Preston now. They're basically doing the same dodgy stuff as before. Don't fall for Eco Save Glass, it's just another scam set up by Crown Glazing. The Financial Conduct Authority has a warning about them being an unlicensed company. They say you shouldn't deal with them at all. You can check it out yourself. This sort of fraud should be taken seriously and reported straight away to the police or Action Fraud.

That classic "30% off your EE bill for life" trick is back again. They say they'll transfer you to a supervisor, who’s actually just someone else sitting in that same dodgy call centre in Mumbai. Then, they ask for the six-digit code from a text EE supposedly sends you to "verify your account." When you mention the message warns not to share the code with anyone, not even EE staff, the scammer brushes it off saying, "Just this one time, mate." If you fall for it, they’ll place an expensive order on your account and have the item sent to a PO box they control, leaving you dealing with the mess afterwards.

What a total scam! They claimed I had bank PPI compensation of £2550 plus £1550 in interest waiting for me. When I asked if they knew my bank, I made up “Bank of Paris” (which is totally fake) and they didn’t catch on. Then they gave me some reference and ID numbers and insisted they wouldn’t ask for card or bank info. They said the money was in some kind of “wallet” thing. After that, they passed me to another guy with an Asian accent who asked for the ref and ID numbers again - I gave him fake ones just to mess with them. He seemed baffled and wanted my phone number to verify the numbers! Then he gave me new set of ref and ID codes, still different from before, and accused me of not being tech-savvy. He offered to help me access the wallet and asked me to put the phone on loudspeaker, which was suspicious. Then he told me to download an app called AnyDesk from the Play Store, which would let him remotely control my phone and potentially steal my bank info, passwords, everything. These con artists need to be shut down. Definitely reported this to the police, Financial Conduct Authority, Action Fraud, and texted 7726 too. Watch out everyone!

This number called me around 11:33 this morning, saying there was a £900 charge on my Amazon Visa. They wanted me to complete a form on my phone or computer, but I said no to both. Instead, I asked them to send me the info through the post so I could sort it with my credit card provider and report it to the police. After that, the call just cut off. Calls like this are really unsettling and worrying. I'm thinking of shutting down all my online accounts now.

Never look back. There's no use in turning around anymore. Even if those familiar eyes come to mind, filled with lost thoughts. Even if your heart pulls you towards the place where it once felt perfect, don’t return, erase those memories completely. The same people who once vowed to love you are stuck clinging to the past. Keep this in mind and let go, do not revisit those times. Don’t put your trust in them, they’re strangers now. Remember, they left you in the end. They extinguished all faith - in love, in others, and in themselves. Just keep on living the life before you, and despite how harsh it may seem, focus only on what lies ahead, never look back.

I didn’t keep the call going to hear what they wanted, but a woman with an Indian accent answered and she just said ‘how are you today sir’ instead of asking if I was *my real name*. That made me suspicious it’s likely a call centre scam.

If you want to help cut down on scam calls and messages, take action: REPORT THEM! Whenever you get a dodgy email or nasty message, send a screenshot or the email itself to '[email protected]'. If you get scammy texts, forward them to '7726'. Be careful not to click on any links in those messages, as they might install malware on your phone. Also, if you receive spam or scam calls, text the word CALL to '7726' with the number and details - that will help your phone provider spot suspicious numbers. Don’t forget to raise a fuss with your MP about all these scams too. If by any chance you’ve given out your bank info, contact your bank straight away. Next, report it to ‘action fraud’, then forward details to ‘7726’ and share your experience here to warn others. For more info, you can google ‘action fraud’ or visit ‘police.uk’ and follow their advice. And whatever you do - don’t ring back numbers you don’t know! Cheers, Anon 13

Complete con job, pretending to handle bank PPI claims and telling me I’m owed £2550 plus £1550 interest from my bank. When asked what my bank is, I said "Bank of Paris" - which doesn't exist - and they had no clue. They gave me a reference number and ID, said they never ask for bank or card details, and claimed the money was in a wallet? Then they handed me over to another Asian guy. He wanted the ID and reference numbers, which I purposely gave wrong. Confused, he asked for my phone number to verify them. Then he gave me new IDs and refs, different from the first lot, and said I wasn’t good with tech and he’d help me get into the wallet. Next, he told me to put my phone on loudspeaker (why?) and download an app called Anydesk from the Play Store. That app would let them remotely control my phone to steal bank info, passwords, and personal data. These scumbags should be shut down. Make sure to report this to the police, the FCA, and about phishing scams!

Beware of Nexbridge Communications Limited. I found out they deal in phone numbers but mostly hand them over to scammers. They provide both mobiles and landlines, then give out lists of numbers to ring. So if you ever get a call from a VoIP number connected to them, chances are you’re just one of the many targets on their list. Not the kind of firm you want behind your number!

I've been getting these robo calls pretty much all day, they want you to say something at specific times, and every day the last couple of digits in the number change. Just blocking them doesn’t do much because they keep coming back with a new number. These scammers really are getting out of hand. I think the best thing is to report them to Action Fraud, maybe they'll actually do something about it.

Total scam alert, these lot keep ringing, texting and even sending fake letters non stop. Blocking numbers doesn’t help cause they just keep calling from new ones. I’ve spoken to the cops and they told me to report it to Action Fraud and get the word out on social media because just reporting on these sites doesn’t really stop them. The police said if you get these kind of calls or messages, make a post to warn others and ask them to share it. The more people who know, the better chance we have against these dodgy scammers. They reportedly swiped hundreds of thousands in the last few days alone, so we gotta get the word around and help prevent more people losing money.

This one again... offering you a supposed 30% discount on your O2 bill for good. They claim they're connecting you to a supervisor, who’s actually just another bloke in their scam operation somewhere in Mumbai. Then he asks you to share a six-digit code from a text supposedly sent by O2, saying he needs it to access your account. When I asked if they knew the name of my bank, I told them “Bank of Paris” - which doesn’t actually exist - and they didn’t catch on. They then gave me some reference and ID numbers, promising they wouldn’t ask for any card or bank info and claimed the money was in a digital wallet. Seemingly confused, he asked for my phone number to verify the info. Then he provided a new set of ID and reference numbers, saying these were the accurate ones - different from the first batch. He said I was hopeless with technology and offered to help me get into this wallet, asking me to put my phone on speaker (dunno why), then told me to download an app called Anydesk from the Play Store.
