Got a call from some bloke asking if I could hear him properly, seemed like he was trying to figure out if I was a woman or not. Then, about an hour and a half later, I got a text saying “mum, I’ve lost my phone.” Totally a scam, and honestly, the person behind the call was a right lowlife. Definitely connected the dots on that one.

So about an hour ago, I got a call from this number, and a guy called Paul was on the line. Right away he asked if I could hear him clearly, then he began firing off loads of personal questions. I ended the call pretty quick since he wouldn’t say what he was actually ringing about.

Got a call from some robot bloke named Paul, said he was from this will sortin’ company, maybe called Goodwill or summat like that... I just told the automated voice to do one...

Some bloke named Paul rang me and asked if I could hear him alright, which I said yes to. When I asked why he was ringing, he just brushed it off and started saying he was calling from London. Felt a bit dodgy, so I just hung up. No idea where he got my number from.
