Exactly what happened to me, I got no answer and then the call just ended abruptly.

I got a call from a place I reckon was a call centre in India, saying they were from EE. They asked if I was satisfied with their service, but when I questioned how they knew I was with EE, the caller just cut me off straight away. Seems to me they were trying to scam me into buying some sort of "better" package or the like.

There was total silence at first, then the line just went dead and the caller hung up without saying anything.

Got a call from someone saying they were EE and had a 40% off deal for my upgrade. They had a really strong Indian call centre accent, which made me suspicious straight away. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up pretty quick. Seemed a bit sketchy to me.
