I knew straight away it was dodgy - O2 never ring you out of the blue about that kinda thing, and they don’t just deactivate SIMs unless you actually ask them. I just told the caller "What a rubbish scam, mate" and ended the call.2 monthsGot a missed call from this number, looks like a total scam. They rang pretending to be from O2, saying my SIM was expired or something and that they'd send me a new one but keep my number. O2 would never ring you outta the blue with that nonsense, and they defo don't deactivate sims unless you actually ask them to. So I just told them “Yeah right, try again” and ended the call.
