I got two calls close together about some kind of refund for a computer protection service I’ve never even heard of, and apparently it’s gone bust now. They were obviously fishing for my bank details. I tried to keep them on the line for a bit, but lost interest after the first call. The second caller seemed to give up on me pretty quickly too. These calls are pretty risky - promising money but then asking for your details. Oddly enough, they did know the first four digits of my card, but not beyond that. Classic scam, total rubbish. J.T.

Got a call from someone saying they were Vodafone, but it seemed fishy.
