They said I’d get a text with a code I had to give them to send out the new sim. They asked for my house number and postcode, which I thought was odd, so I said “surely you already have that info?” But she insisted she couldn’t get into my account without it. They texted me a code to read out, which seemed fishy. I told them I was driving and asked them to call later. They rang back soon after. I looked online and found out O2 doesn’t actually call to upgrade sims, so I’m thinking this was dodgy.7 monthsGot a call from someone just messing about, then they quickly hung up on me.
