7 monthsThis number popped up on my call list but I didn’t know it so I didn’t bother ringing back, which is my usual rule for unknown numbers. Definitely felt like a scam to me 👎👎.7 monthsGot a call from someone claiming to be O2, telling me my SIM was about to expire and they’d send a replacement. They already seemed to know a load about me but wanted to verify by email. The link in the email looked dodgy and was flagged as suspicious, but he kept pushing me to click on it. When I asked for his name and staff ID he gave it, but then started to get a bit hostile, saying my SIM would be disconnected if I didn’t comply. So I just hung up. Rang O2 afterwards and they confirmed straight away it was a scam.7 monthsI just ignored an unknown caller and then they rung again but I sent it straight to voicemail. They said they'd email me a link to a dodgy EE site to reset my account password. When I said no way I’m giving out any codes and that I’d contact EE directly, the bloke on the phone got really rude and just ended the call. Weirdly, he knew loads of personal info I’d given them earlier this year. I called him out straight away, saying he was just another scammer, thief, and fraud. He just laughed nervously and hung up.
