So this team called me, wanted me to advertise my business for them. I asked if they could email me the details first, but then they just ended the call straight away. Bit odd, really.

So, I told the guy to just send me the info by email, but he said there’s a £199 charge to make your business “protected” so customers don’t think you’re a scammer or something. Total rubbish if you ask me. Plus, he claimed he wasn’t allowed to email any details through. Sounds dodgy!

Got a call from a bloke claiming he’s with the Crime Response Team, saying he wanted to feature our business in some magazine. At first he said his name was Michael, then suddenly it changed to Josh. When I asked him for their Companies House details, he just cut the call. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

Somebody called me claiming to be from some crime commission or something, sounded like a total load of rubbish to me.

They started off pretending I’d won some prize. I asked them to send the info by email, but then they said they couldn’t do that. When I asked if they were for real, they got annoyed, flipped it back on me saying I wasn’t legit, and then just hung up.
