8 daysI got a call today (17/06/2026) claiming to be from o2 and that my sim card will be deactivated. I have been getting these same phone calls almost daily for months, from different mobile phone numbers. Usually when I ask them "who do you want to speak to?" or "what's my name?" they immediately hang up. This is 100% a scam, I've even checked with o2. This time the man argued with me for 15 minutes, before I eventually hung up. Despite me begging him to stop scamming people, this is cruel and unfair etc., he still insisted he was calling from o2 and that it was urgent. When I asked him to prove it by giving me my name or address or something else related to my account, he kept repeating "respectfully Maam... I can only give those details once you have told me your email address, to verify you are the right person." We went round in circles and he would not back down. I have blocked the number, but doubt the calls will stop any time soon as I have probably p***ed him off.9 daysGot a call from someone claiming to be from 3 mobile, warning me that my number was about to get blocked.
