Got a call from a dodgy number pretending to be from a utility firm, targeting businesses. Definitely a scam.

Some bloke called Edgar rang me, said he was from My Business Energy or summat, but I couldn’t find any trace of that company online. He was asking to speak to someone in charge but wasn’t trying to sell anything, which seemed a bit weird. Said something about us having an energy contract and maybe getting some compensation or whatever. Felt like a load of nonsense to me. I reckon he just wanted to grab our info to chuck it at another firm for endless calls. Honestly, these folks should sort themselves out and find real work!
