I picked up the phone and could only hear someone talking in Chinese, so I just ended the call and put a block on the number.

The message came across like it was from someone I knew, but it was all in Chinese. It said something about his uncle throwing a party and sending a driver to pick me up. Honestly, I have no idea what's going on here - feels totally sketchy to me. Why would they randomly offer rides like that? I'm staying well clear, no way I'm trusting this!

So this bloke called and said his name was David, maybe he mentioned his firm or something but I wasn't really paying attention. I told him I don’t really do English, and without much fuss he just said cheers and ended the call. Fairly polite guy, all in all.

this guy from india, couldnt speak english properly, started asking about my experience with trading. from what Ive seen, thats a classic sign of a scam. they lure you in with some sort of “bonus” to start trading, but that bonus ends up being charged on your card. after that, poof, they vanish and so does your cash. best thing is just tell em to **** off, they seem to get a kick out of it :)

Got a call from some guy with a thick Indian accent, his English was pretty poor. He kept asking about my experience with trading, which I know is a classic sign of one of those trading scams. They promise some sort of "bonus" to lure you in, but of course, that "bonus" ends up being charged to your card. After that, they vanish and you never get your money back or hear another word from them. Best thing is to just tell them to piss off, they actually seem to enjoy getting told that!

I got a call from someone telling me I supposedly have a cryptocurrency account that I need to activate. The weird thing is they didn’t even know my real name, just some nickname I used ages ago on an old social site. Proper strange how they got that!

Got a call from some lot called ‘Bright Nexus’ who said they’re from Manchester and had info from some road traffic accident folks about me being involved in a crash. Thing is, I’ve not been in any accident, so it smells like a dodgy claim scam to me. Turns out 'Bright Nexus' are actually from Kuala Lumpur and the bloke on the phone definitely didn’t have a Manchester accent. Pretty sus if you ask me.

Has anyone else got an answer from this number? It’s been ringing me a couple of times but no one picked up.
