Got a text from "CarLoans UK" saying someone else (not me) was approved for a car loan and asking me to reply with what kind of cars I'm looking for. I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a message from some company called CarLoans UK, from a guy named Tom. It said something like they got my application but can’t offer me finance because apparently my monthly income is listed as £0.00. They asked me to confirm my actual income, including wages and benefits, so they can look at my application again. I’m baffled - no idea who these lot are, how they got my number, or why they’re calling me "Lala." Felt really dodgy, like a scam straight away.

Got a text from someone claiming to be about car finance, even though I never asked for anything like that since I don’t own a car. They wanted my monthly income details. The message was signed off as carloansuk. Definitely dodgy, so I just blocked and ignored it. Stay clear!
