I got a call from 020 7947 6000, and the bloke claimed to be from HMRC. He wanted me to press 1 to speak with an inspector and accused me of owing £1000 in tax, warning me about an arrest warrant. It felt like he was just trying to keep me talking. He also mentioned they’d sent several letters to my place that I needed to sign, but claimed no one was home when they tried. That’s rubbish - someone’s always in my house! I ended the call sharpish. He rang back, which helped me catch his number: 07360221110. I’ve blocked it now.

He also said they’d sent a few letters to my place that I needed to sign, but apparently no one was home when they checked. That’s total rubbish - someone’s always here! I ended the call straight away. He rang back, which gave me a chance to catch his number - 07360221110. He's blocked now, thankfully.
