Got a call saying it was from EE about my contract ending soon. I thought if they were legit, they’d know my name already, so I asked for them to confirm it. As soon as I did, they just cut the call straight away. Totally felt like a scam to me!

Someone rang me saying they were from O2 and that I had a contract with them, plus that my SIM card needed changing. This wasn’t right at all, and when I questioned them, they just ended the call.

It took quite some time before someone picked up, and once I realised it was a call centre, I just hung up straight away.

So this person called saying they weren’t trying to sell me anything or do marketing stuff, and claimed they were from Sky. But when I told them I'm not a Sky customer or anything, they just ended the call right away. Quite weird, honestly.
