Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, spouting about some discounts through a Vodafone and Talk Mobile deal. They had no clue who I am or even my network provider. Ended the call pretty quick when I started asking questions. Definitely felt like a dodgy spam call.

I picked up the phone and this guy said he was ringing from 3 asking for some feedback about their service. I told him I didn’t even use 3, and he kept pressing to find out who my provider was. I told him it wasn’t his business, even with a supposed 45% discount on the table. I also mentioned I figured the money was just lining his pockets. After that, he quickly ended the call. No doubt about it, he was a scammer.
