Picked up the phone but there was this weird long silence before they suddenly hung up on me. Gotta be some kind of scam. Best to just report it and block.

They said they were from EE, but when I asked their location, they gave me some London address that had nothing to do with EE or BT. Sounded like typical call centre drone with all the usual accents I’ve heard from Scam Interceptors. Ended up just hanging up on them.

Got a call from a mobile number and the person said he was from my phone company. He wanted me to confirm my email address but I wasn’t keen on doing that since they should already have it. Then he mentioned they were dispatching a new SIM for my O2 account. I told him I’m not even with O2, so he asked which provider I use. It struck me as odd since he was supposedly sending me a SIM for O2! I ended the call straight away. After that, he called me back a few times. His accent sounded Indian, but he said his name was Steven Forster.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from T Mobile, but it turned out to be a scam. Definitely one of those dodgy call centres trying to pull a fast one. Be careful!
