2 yearsYet another robocall, most likely from some call centre overseas.2 yearsI received a text that purported to be from Royal Mail, stating that they were unable to deliver my parcel and instructed me to choose an alternative delivery date via a link. Clearly a scam!Royal Mail2 yearsWatch out for links cause they can put malware straight onto your phone or computer. If you get any dodgy messages, send them over to 7726 so they can look into it. There’s some good stuff about scams on BBC1 and Channel 5, you can catch it on iPlayer or My5 for all the details.BBC1Channel 52 yearsI got a text on 23 Feb 24 around 2:41am saying that nobody was home to sign for a parcel, but the address was spelled wrong. It mentioned a reference (GB52A10871) and told me to go to reselect-5210871.com to pick a new delivery time. It looked like it was from EVRI, saying they tried a second delivery on 24/02/24 but no one was in, and then wanted me to pay £1.99 for a third attempt. When I tried tracking the parcel using the reference number on the EVRI site, it wouldn’t work because the number was incomplete or wrong.EVRI2 yearsGot a message saying no one was home to accept a delivery, which is rubbish because I was sat in my study and could see the front door clearly.
