Got a text from 'DVLA' sayin they needed to check my driving licence details as part of their routine. It had a link to update.ukdvlagov.com so, daft me, I clicked it first thing in the morning before really thinking. They asked for my licence number and even bank info at the bottom! Turned out to be a total scam 🙈😪 so just a heads up to be careful, I’ve already reported it.

I'm being prompted to renew my licence and fork out money, even though I've got a few years left on it. It seems rather dodgy, if you ask me. I checked the official DVLA site, and it mentioned they would only contact me via text about payments. Plus, the email from that so-called government address looks suspicious right from the start, making it clear to be cautious. Just a heads up for everyone!
