This is just another number scammers use, pretending to be from your phone network. They tell you your SIM will be deactivated in a couple of days and that they'll send you a replacement. Then they ask for your email to send some code, but if you give it to them, they get into your mobile account and can make charges or contracts in your name. They even tried to warn me they'd cut me off immediately this time, but I called their bluff and my service is still working fine.

Some bloke rang me saying he was from 3 Mobile, supposed to be giving out discounts because of bad network issues lately. I flipped the script and started asking him questions, then he just ended the call.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Virgin Media or O2, but I don’t have an account with any of them. So, I just ended the call and put their number on block.
