The person first claimed to be from His Majesty’s Customs, then changed it to HMRC. The call told me to press 1 to talk to someone, so I did. The bloke I got on the line was really rude, so I immediately suspected it wasn’t a legit government call. When I kept asking questions, he just ended the call.

A woman called claiming to be from O2 or Virgin, telling me my SIM would be cut off in two days. She then wanted to know if I’d be around the next day. She didn’t try to get any personal info which was odd, but something felt off about it. I ended up just hanging up after she asked if I’d be home the following day.

Somebody rang up saying they was calling from o2 and claimed my sim would be cut off in a couple of days, but they’d send a new one free the next day. They wanted to know if I'd be home tomorrow or somethin. I ended up just putting the phone down cos it all sounded a bit dodgy to me and I wasn’t convinced at all.
