At around 5.17am today, I got a message from a number pretending to be my kid saying their phone got broken when dropped and this was the number they’d be using till it’s fixed. I replied telling them to quit the scam cause it’s just not right or lawful. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a text with a dodgy link, looks like one of those scams. Wouldn't click on it if I were you.

Got a message claiming to be one of my kids saying they smashed their phone screen after dropping it. Didn't believe it and straight away blocked the number.

Just got a text supposedly from my ‘son’ saying he’d broken his phone screen and asking me to check out a link with a different number. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!
