I received a text at 05:06 this morning containing a one-time password (OTP) for a transaction amounting to £160.55 at Argos. Thankfully, my phone managed to block it, but it’s rather concerning.

Received a text claiming to be from Lloyds: "Your OTP for a transaction of £260.55 to NEXT PLC is 713641. Please keep this code confidential. If you did not authorise this, please go to: https://lloyds.user-mobile.com." I can’t stress enough - it’s an absolute scam! Whatever you do, don’t engage with it, even if you hold an account with Lloyds. It's best to ring the customer service number listed on the back of your card for any concerns. Stay vigilant!
