I just checked this number after seeing a missed call from it a bit ago, wanted to be safe. I'm based in Ireland and I’m sure it’s not connected to any relatives I have scattered around the UK. Big thanks to everyone who shared their experiences - it really makes a difference. The number that popped up for me was 00447359652124, and I’ll be blocking and reporting it just like I did with some calls from Belgium.

I got a call that claimed to be from my bank, saying there was some dodgy activity on my account and money had been taken. But it sounded dodgy from the start - why would my bank call me on a mobile number? Plus, they never even said which bank they were from. I checked my accounts and there was nothing out of the ordinary. Funny enough, a mate of mine got a similar call that very same day.
