Got a call from someone saying they were with Vodafone or Three, not sure which honestly. Definitely a scam though, so I just blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from this number claiming to be O2, saying my SIM was about to be turned off. Funny thing is, the number actually belongs to Sky. When I told them I don’t use O2 anymore they just kept pushing. Ended the call. Same sort of call came through yesterday on a different phone. I left O2 back in early November, so I was nearly fooled until I got a couple of texts from O2 with a pin to access my account - which the caller was bugging me about. Watch out, they’re obviously fishing for O2 login info.

Picked up the phone but there was silence on the other end. Just went ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call from someone who didn’t sound legit. As soon as I stayed quiet, they just ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam try.

Someone rang me, pretending to be from O2, saying my SIM was due to expire in a few days because of the Virgin Media takeover. They said they'd send a new SIM and would text me a code to verify. Sure enough, I got a code from O2 and they asked me to tell them what it was, even though the message warned not to share it. They sounded proper convincing, but I reckon it was one of those scams where they try and get your verification code to hack into your account. Stay careful, folks!
