Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with EE, reckoned he had our account info. Turned out we’re not even EE customers. It was some Indian guy who just hung up on me. Strange!

I chose not to pick up the call, and since they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail despite the warning that they’d be blocked otherwise, I went ahead and blocked the number.

I didn’t pick up, but they dropped a voicemail that was just static and noise. It gave me the vibe of some call centre or something.

Some bloke called himself Alex and said he was from EE. I told him I don’t even use EE as my network, and before I could say more, he just hung up. Pretty sure it was a scam call.

That definitely came across as one of those robotic scam calls.

I picked up and there was silence on the other end, but I could hear a bunch of voices chatting away like they were trying to ring loads of people. Seemed really sketchy, probably scammers or those annoying cold-callers. I've blocked the number now.
