Got a call from EE saying there’s been some issues with signal around here and they mentioned a complaint had been lodged. I was thinking of switching providers but they tried to convince me to stick around and offered to sort it out if I paid a small charge.

As soon as they began talking, it was clear to me this was some kind of scam trying to fish for info. I didn’t hang about and just cut the call off straight away.

Got a call from an automated voice saying it was the bank’s fraud dept, asking if I'd spent about £300 at Currys. They told me to press 1 if I hadn't made the purchase or hang up to confirm it was fine. I just let the call stay on but didn’t press anything and later checked my online bank details. Turns out it was a scam, so glad I didn’t press 1!
