In just half an hour after picking up one call, I got hit with two more calls from almost identical numbers. Since then, I’ve stopped picking up any of them. I've blocked all the numbers but these firms really deserve some sort of penalty for the stress they cause. I’m guessing loads of people are feeling just as pestered as I am. Honestly, they should be shut down!

Absolute scammers! They claimed, with a heavy Indian accent, that they were from British Gas. Totally ridiculous.

Total scam alert. I let the call ring through till it hit voicemail. There was a long silence, then just a quiet 'hello' with no follow-up. You could easily tell it was a noisy call centre in the background. What’s weird is some callers claimed to be from British Gas, others said Vodafone. None of them asked for a particular person. It felt like they were all just trying to get info somehow.
