I got a call about student finance, but they tried to trick me into giving my bank info through a dodgy link. Definitely a phishing attempt.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from SFE, but it felt really dodgy. Sounded like a scam to me, so I just hung up straightaway. Watch out, folks!

These con artists sure seem to be getting away with it. When I called them out about targeting older and vulnerable folks, they got super smug. One bloke said, “Whilst you lot are scrimping on a simple meal, we’ll be on Miami’s shore, knocking back cocktails and tucking into Lobster Thermidor in just a few months.” They bragged about cashing in big time and living it up, even as everyone else struggles with rising prices and shrinking pay packets. Absolutely disgusting. 🤬
