Got a call from someone claiming to be NHS Track & Trace about Omicron. I’m disabled and haven’t been outside or near anyone sick, no way I’ve been near a positive case. Also, I never signed up for Track & Trace, so this smells like a scam to me. I didn’t do what they asked, dunno what happens if you do, but might try giving fake info just to see what’s up and update later. For now, it feels like harassment, especially since it could freak out others way more than it did me.

Just a heads up, got a call supposedly from NHS Test & Trace about Omicron. They asked for personal info and then, out of nowhere, wanted me to pay £1.99 for a test certificate by entering card details. I’ve bought tests before and there’s no such thing as a certificate you have to pay for. Legit government sites use proper secure payment portals, not some dodgy form. BEWARE, this has scam written all over it. If you give them your card info, they’ll probably empty your bank accounts.

I got a call from this number saying it was track and trace and they wanted me to pay for a PCR test kit. Don’t fall for it - the tests are supposed to be free now because the laws have changed.
