Since April 2026, I’ve been getting annoying calls from people claiming to be from O2 or Virgin Media about my SIM. Back in May, I decided to get in touch with O2’s Fraud and Security Team. Things calmed down for a little while, but now the calls have started again. Proper frustrating!

I tried adding the number on WhatsApp to check if it was a real person, and their profile picture was of Preston City football club. But my message never got delivered - looks like they blocked me. Definitely steer clear of this one!

I went ahead and blocked that number, so now it can’t bother me anymore.

I just got a call about a 3 Mobile SIM replacement, which seemed dodgy from the start. When I asked questions, the call got cut off straight away. Definitely feels like a scam trying to send a fake SIM through.
