Pretty sure it was some sort of scam, as soon as they recognised my voice they just cut off. Terrible connection too.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Tesco mobile, offering half off my phone bill. They said they’d post me some info, but to actually get the deal I’d need to do it over the phone. They mentioned sending a code to my phone but wanted to verify my account info first. I told them if they were legit Tesco, they could just post the details and I'd sort it out when I had time. Then they got a bit pushy, asking why and what the problem was. Definitely feels dodgy - watch out for this one!
