Somebody rang me pretending to be from O2, saying 4G was going to be switched off soon and that my phone would stop working unless I upgraded. They then offered a discounted 5G SIM. I didn’t bother digging into what details or cash they wanted because the claim was so obviously a scam. What’s worse, less than ten minutes later, another caller used the same trick on a different number of mine.

Had a call from someone claiming to be Sky, promising big savings. Next thing I know, they’re after my account info - seemed like a scam to me. Definitely watch out for these dodgy calls!
