Steer clear of this one. The number isn’t recognisable at all.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media, said they needed my email to sort out a discount on my direct debit. I gave it without thinking, then right after, an email popped up from someone pretending to be O2, just seconds apart. The email asked me to verify by clicking a link. When I didn’t click, the caller got quite annoyed. It soon dawned on me that Virgin wouldn’t just ring out of nowhere like that, must be a scam trying to grab my details. Pretty sneaky tactic if you ask me.
