Got a dodgy call pretending to be from EE. Watch out because they text you something that looks official from EE and ask for your pin. It’s not really a pin, it’s to activate two factor authentication so they can hijack your account using info you give them. Keep in mind, all EE call centres are located in the UK. If you’re unsure, just ask for the pin and they’ll give you a FOUR digit one. Most times you can tell it’s a scam straight away since the caller is rude and clueless, nothing like the proper EE customer service you'd expect.

I picked up and they just cut the call straight away, so I don’t really have much to say about it.

This number's dodgy, always acting like it's from EE but it's a total scam.

I got a call from someone saying they were with EE, asking if all was alright with my service. I said "no," and she wanted to know what was wrong. Honestly, her tone didn’t come across as professional and I suspected it was some kind of scam. When she asked about the problems, I just said I’d ring EE myself to sort it out and ended the call.
