Someone rang me pretending to be from EE, saying they were sending a new SIM and asked me to confirm an email they claimed EE had already sent about it. I looked through my emails and couldn’t find anything like that, so it was clearly a scam. Just trying to get you to click a dodgy link. Best to give it a miss.

Don’t recognise the number, didn’t answer. This is the second time I’ve had calls like this in the last couple of days.

Someone rang me claiming they were from Virgin Media O2 and said I had a contract with them. I kept telling them I didn’t, but they just kept going on about it. I told them I wasn’t interested and would just have a look once I got back home.
