About what I mentioned before, the number that rang me back was actually another one (07359221706). After having a quick look up online for “EE phone scam,” it turns out that offering a 45% discount is a common trick these scammers use. So I've decided to block both numbers straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the Amazon fraud team, telling me my account was charged for a £50 Apple phone. I couldn't help but laugh and just ended the call. They've been blocked now.
