For a solid week, I kept getting calls every day from what was clearly a call centre in India. When I finally answered, the person said my O2 SIM card was out of date and needed updating. I told them I’d switched from O2 to a different network, and right after that, they just hung up on me. Honestly, the best way to deal with these lot is just let it ring out and don’t answer - they tend to give up and cut the call after about four rings anyway.

Got three calls already this week, each time from a different number and all of them were foreigners pretending to be from BT, which they definitely weren’t. They were all pushing to sell a new SIM card to whoever's living at the address. BT confirmed it’s a scam because they don’t contact people like that and the numbers given don’t match their records. Watch out for this, don’t fall for it!

Got loads of calls from someone saying they're O2, but I don't even have O2 as my network. Been getting these annoying calls for days now and they just won't stop or take my number off their list. It's pretty much harassment at this point.
