On Wednesday 4th May 2022, I got a text saying something like 'You’ve been near a person who’s just tested positive for Omicron, so you need to order a test kit' with a link to a website. I never signed up to any track and trace or anything like that. Feels like another sneaky scammer trying to fool people, especially those who might not be able to spot the trick.

I urge everyone to steer clear of the dodgy link in that text message. It’s clear those con artists were masquerading as the NHS, claiming I needed to order a PCR test kit because I might have caught Omicron. Best to remain vigilant and not fall for such tricks!
