TOTAL SCAM! Watch out, folks! They told me my phone’s SIM would be blocked and that a replacement would arrive the following day. Then they started trying to get all my personal info! I didn’t fall for it and gave them a piece of my mind 🤬🤬😡😡 Definitely blocked the number!

So I got a call from this number, and no one said a word before the call just suddenly dropped?? Weird, right? Not sure what that was about.

Picked up the phone and there was nothing but silence. I tried saying hello a few times but no response. Seems likely it was some spam caller checking if my number’s active, so I just ended the call and blocked them straight away.

They totally ignored the TPS list, which is usually a dead giveaway that it’s either a scam or some annoying marketing push. If they can’t be bothered to check that, I’m not picking up next time!

Got a call from this number earlier today, the person said they were from O2 or Virgin, can’t quite remember. I recently got Virgin Media broadband and TV set up, but they mentioned something about my mobile plan. The thing is, I don’t have a mobile contract with O2 at all. I just ended the call and haven’t heard from them since. Oddly, when I looked up the number, it showed as linked to Sky? Bit confusing if you ask me.

I missed their call earlier and when I tried ringing back, it just went straight to an answerphone that was apparently full. Bit frustrating really!

This one has me stumped. Out of nowhere they gave me a ring, kept saying hello a couple of times. After the call dropped, they phoned back. I could hear weird breathing noises, then some kind of strange raspberry sound. Honestly, felt like a butt dial or something. I hung up and tried calling my bank instead, but their voicemail was full. No idea who it was or what they wanted.

They told me it was for a sim upgrade and asked for the verification code from my old 02 account.
