I highly doubt that the caller was genuine; it appeared he was attempting to fish for my banking details. He was going on about being from O2, but something didn't sit right.

Got this call from someone pretending to be O2, asking for my card info. It was pretty obvious it was a scam, especially since O2 usually contacts customers through their official messaging system. Definitely dodgy.

Got a text saying it was from O2, asking me to confirm my payment info or else my service would get cut off, with a link to click on! Virgin recently switched my account over to O2 without me asking, but I've had no payment problems at all. So I’m pretty sure this message is a scam. Blocked the number straight away. Just curious how they managed to get my details in the first place.
