Beware, this is definitely a scam! I've been getting loads of calls saying my SIM will be cut off in a day. They claimed to be from either O2 or Tesco mobile, trying to trick me into giving my bank details. The bloke on the phone sounded like he had a South Asian accent - maybe from India, Bangladesh, or Pakistan. Seems like these fraudsters are using numbers starting with 07359. There’s like three different scam call rings behind this number - best to just steer clear.

Like others have said before, this is definitely a con. Some bloke with an Indian accent called me, saying my O2 sim would be switched off in two days and that they’d be sending a replacement. He sounded just like the chap who phoned last week with the exact same tale, and when I asked too many questions, he started swearing at me. Totally dodgy, probably trying to get your personal info or even bank details under the guise of “verification”.
