Got a text from Evri saying they needed some details to sort out a delivery, but when I clicked the link, it asked for my name, address, and even to pay £1.40 from my bank. Definitely felt fishy to me.

Got a text claiming I can track a parcel from Evri, but the link looks dodgy and even the tracking number doesn’t match their usual style. Definitely seems like a scam to me.

If you get any scam calls or messages, make sure to text the details to 7726 and then block the number. When lots of people report the same scam number, it gets flagged as risky by your mobile network. For scam texts, always forward them to 7726, and it’s a good idea to email screenshots to the police at '[email protected]' so they can look into it. The same goes for scam emails - send those through too. If you accidentally shared your bank info with a scammer, contact your bank straight away. Remember, you can call the police on 101 in Scotland or 0300 123 2040 elsewhere in the UK.

This was definitely a scam call about postage, just trying to get your details for nothing. Be careful, they sound all official but it’s just spam.
