Got a message on 9/2/22 pretending to be from Halifax bank. Don’t even have an account with them, so I knew it was dodgy. Deleted it straight away. Watch out, this is definitely some kind of scam!

Got a call from someone pretending to be Lloyds Bank saying there was a payment tried on a new gadget. They told me to check out this link if I didn’t do it: https://cancelpaym-attemptsecure.comiflloyds/ - totally a scam! Don’t fall for it!

Got a message from the NHS saying I’d been near someone with the omicron strain and that I should get a free PCR test. The link took me to a site where, after filling in a form, they wanted my bank info supposedly for a credit check to stop identity fraud. No chance I’m handing over my bank details, even if it looks like it’s from the NHS.

Got a message from 07359005226 claiming to be Santander saying “new payee request to k mohammed via your santander mobile app. if this isn’t you, go to https://authsantansupport.com”. I just ignored it since i don’t even have a Santander account anymore. Definitely a scam!

Got a text supposedly from the NHS saying I’d been near someone with covid and to click a link to order a PCR test. It’s a total scam, do not trust it!

This message is a total con, definitely not from your bank. Don’t tap on any links or share your info. You should send it to your phone company by forwarding it to 7726 to report it.
