Totally a scam, stay clear of it!

I've had a rather dodgy text come through from this number, which set off alarm bells. Not long after, I received a message purportedly from my son claiming he was overwhelmed with things and was struggling to eat or sleep, insisting he didn’t want to burden me with his troubles. It was only when I quizzed him about why he hadn’t retained his number during his switch to EE that it clicked for both of us-he looked utterly baffled when he confirmed he's still got the same number and hasn’t changed anything at all! Honestly, this is the most convincing scam I've encountered yet!
