Got a text from Barclays thanking me for signing up to their mobile banking, it even named the gadget I supposedly used and gave a one-time password. At the bottom it said if I wasn’t expecting this, just reply ‘NO’. Seems dodgy to me, like one of those scams where if you reply, they’ll try to get more details out of you?

Got a dodgy text about HSBC setting up mobile banking on some other phone, said there was a one time code. Just ignored it and told HSBC straight away.

Got a dodgy message saying I hadn’t signed into my HSBC on a new phone. Thought it was fishy, so I ignored it. Then they ring up pretending they’re from some fraud department. Best thing is to bin the message and let your provider know straight away.

Got a text about suspicious activity on my credit card from this number so I gave it a ring, but it just ended up on some gift gaff voicemail. Bit dodgy if you ask me.
