Got a call from someone pretending to be my kid trying to scam me for cash, even though I don’t have any kids. Had a laugh playing along with their story through messages though!

It was definitely a scam, they messaged saying, “Hey mum, I’m on my mate’s phone because mine’s about to run out of battery. When you get this, my new number is 07355721695.” Honestly, I just blocked and deleted it straight away. Don't ever reply!

Just like someone mentioned earlier, this is a total scam. They say their phone got broken and pretend to be a kid, calling you from a mate’s phone and telling you this is their new number. Absolutely dodgy behaviour.

Got a horrible voicemail the other day asking if I enjoyed being broke and how it felt to be chatting to myself just wasting time. Luckily, I didn’t hand over any personal info or cash.
