Someone attempted to dupe a mother by mimicking her daughter’s voice perfectly.

+44 7355 719430 Tried to pull a scam on me. Got a text on the evening of April 15th, about 7.30pm, saying “Hi mum, new number here” without giving any name at first. They claimed to be my eldest daughter. Thankfully I got them to say the name was Lauren, which tipped me off straight away since I knew none of my kids had sent a message like that. I blocked the number right away. If this really belongs to someone, they should know it’s being used to scam people.
