Just got a text saying "Hi Mum, can you message me on 07355462215?" It came from 07786 200553. Does anyone know if 07786 200553 is a premium rate number that charges you money when you call or message, and whether the person sending it profits from that? I remember 070 numbers used to cost you to ring, like 09 numbers do. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

This number 07355462215 sent me a text asking 'Hi mum can u text me back here?' It seemed a bit odd to get a message like that from an unknown number.

Got a text from 07786 200553 saying "Hi mum, can you ring me on 07355 462215". Thing is, A) neither number belongs to my daughter B) she’d never open a message like that with “hi mum” C) she’s still got about half an hour left of her English Language GCSE exam. Pretty obvious scam if ya ask me.
